That's what friends are for

I miss my friends in KC terribly. The loneliness comes and goes, and it came right before we made the trip back for the half marathon. So it felt good to spend the evening with my best friend and her family. We always joked that we would live next door to each other and our kids would be best friends as well. Life doesn't always work out how you think it will, but that doesn't mean our kids can't be friends the couple times a year they get to play. And for a couple of two-ish-year-olds, I think they did pretty well!
